Daily Workplace Cleaning Checklist

Sanitize Door Handles and Elevator Buttons

Make sure that you sanitize all door handles and elevator buttons (and anything else that people need to touch to get in and out of the workplace) at least once a day, preferably more. These high-touch surfaces can easily become breeding grounds for germs if not cleaned regularly.

Replenish Hand Sanitizer and Wipes

Every morning, check on your supply of hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes (which you should be keeping in any areas where people might need them). Refill bottles with sanitizer and put out more wipes if you’re running low.

Put Out Masks and Gloves

This year, it’s important to encourage anyone who enters your facility to wear face masks and gloves to promote cleanliness and safety. Sometimes people do not have access to masks or gloves, or they simply forget them, so we recommend keeping a supply of disposable masks and gloves on hand to make it easy for everyone to protect themselves (and each other). Put your masks and gloves out somewhere where people can easily grab them on their way in.

Wipe Down Electronics

We use our electronic devices a lot these days. That means plenty of touching – and plenty of germs! Make sure that all devices, especially those with touchscreens, are wiped down with a sanitizing cleaner at least once a day.

These simple daily cleaning habits go a long way in keeping your staff and clients safe, but it is also extremely important to do regular deep cleans of your space to ensure the safest possible environment. The best thing that you can do is hire a reputable commercial cleaning team.
